Since #HelpDesk was founded
in 1996, #HelpDesk has become the DALnet recommended channel for help with
bots and scripting. As well as giving people the actual code they need to
make their bots and scripts work, #HelpDesk tries to educate the user to
enable them to learn effective
scripting.
#HelpDesk helps mainly with
mIRC scripting and bots, although we try and offer help with other clients
wherever possible. If we're not particularly busy, we will help with
general IRC and DALnet questions,
and point the user in the right direction for future help on the subject.
