Application For Becoming a DALnet Approved Help Channel

Instructions
------------


1) NOTE: BEFORE YOU APPLY. READ THE APPLICATION GUIDELINES,
   http://help.dal.net/faqs/HelpChannelAppGuidelines.txt, 
   TO SEE IF YOU FULFILL THE REQUIREMENTS. If you do NOT fulfill all
   requirements do not apply, you will be denied.
   

2) You must have read and understood the Help Channel Guidelines prior
   to your application.


3) Fill out this form completely and e-mail it to hc@dal.net, incomplete
   forms can not be considered. Do NOT send the applications as an attachment but
   in the mail body or the application will be deleted unread.
   


Note: 

The DALnet recommended/approved channel status is only given to
well-established channels.  The channel should already be popular and
dedicated to user help, with enough staff (AOPs etc.) to provide the
appropriate help at all times.  The recommended status will NOT be given
to new channels which only want to boost their popularity: these channels
should wait and apply later when they have become established and at least
moderately popular.

If there is already a recommended help channel dealing with the areas
that you are proposing to help with in your channel, then it's very likely
that your application will be refused at first glance. Please understand
that we have no need of many different help channels that deal with the same
issues.
