Note: The DALnet recommended/approved channel status is only given to well-established channels. The channel should already be popular and dedicated to user help, with enough staff (AOPs etc.) to provide the appropriate help at all times. The recommended status will NOT be given to new channels which only want to boost their popularity: these channels should wait and apply later when they have become established and at least moderately popular. If there is already a recommended help channel dealing with the areas that you are proposing to help with in your channel, then it's very likely that your application will be refused at first glance.
